QUALIFICATIONS During the INTO THE DEEP season, our team achieved outstanding results both nationally and internationally. At the Romanian South Regional Championship, we were proud to be the Winning Alliance Partner and to receive the Inspire Award, 3rd Place, recognizing our team’s excellence in engineering, design, outreach, and team spirit. Our momentum continued at the Romanian National Championship, where we earned the Connect Award, 3rd Place, for our strong connections within the engineering community and our impactful outreach. Internationally, our robot gained recognition on a global scale, being ranked #3 in the world in January and #5 in February and March in the prestigious FTC Top 25 by FUN, highlighting our technical innovation and consistent performance throughout the season. Thus, the Michiana Premier Event would be the perfect opportunity for us to demonstrate the full potential of our robot. Although our performance at The Romanian National Championship didn’t reflect the hard work and technical complexity behind our build, we see this event as a chance to bounce back, improve, and truly showcase what our team is capable of FUN FACTS: Quantum Robotics is a 100% student-led team, meaning that all strategic, technical, and organizational decisions are made by our high school members. From managing our budget to defining our goals and running outreach events, everything is handled by students. This empowers us to become not only better engineers, but strong, independent thinkers and leaders. Moreover, this season, our robot was 90% built and 100% programmed by 10th graders, most of whom are only in their second year of FTC and high school. Despite their youth, their commitment and creativity led us to victory at the Romanian South Regional Championship, where we secured the Winning Alliance Partner. Every year, we dedicate ourselves not only to building great robots but to building a greater community. We host unique and impactful events designed to spread STEM and FIRST values in Romania and beyond. Our initiatives have included international connect programs, lab makeovers in which we invested over 14.000 EUR for disadvantaged teams in rural areas, and community STEM fairs, helping inspire and educate thousands. In 2024, we managed one of the largest FTC budgets in Romania, 77,000 EUR, a testament to the trust our sponsors and partners place in our vision. Through strategic outreach and media presence, our global reach has extended to over 364,000 people this season alone.
