GEARS runs FIRST Tech Challenge Indiana teams for students in grades 7–12 at our youth robotics center in Granger. Teams design, build, and program robots, then compete at qualifying tournaments, the Indiana State Championship, and the FIRST World Championship.
2025–26 results
- FTC 14596 XLR8 — Indiana State Champion (Inspire Award and Winning Alliance)
- Four GEARS teams qualified for the 28-team Indiana State Championship
- GEARS teams advanced to the FIRST World Championship in Houston

Quick facts
