The FireWires participated in the FIRST Championship held in Houston, where they demonstrated exceptional performance throughout the week-long competition. As a result of their efforts, they were selected as the first pick for the third alliance. The team showcased their skills by winning the semi-finals in the Edison Division along with their partners 18255 High Definition and the alliance captain 4215 Hypnotic Robotics, but unfortunately, they were eliminated during a highly competitive final match.
During the semi-finals, the FireWires achieved a remarkable feat by scoring two of the top 10 scores in the world. Their outstanding performance also earned them a place in the ftcstats.org Hall of Fame.
The award ceremonies recognized the FireWires’ dedication to embodying the core values of FIRST, as they were honored with the Inspire 2 Award. This prestigious accolade is a testament to their commitment to excellence, teamwork, and gracious professionalism.
