FUN FACTS:
  • Autonomous Wizards: We have very serious coders dedicated to programming. We’ve set up a high-scoring autonomous routine, hitting a combined 183 points with another community based team in our area for auto during an Into the Deep challenge match. Our strategy has sent us through the roof!
  • Garage Lives: Unlike other teams with more technological enhanced spaces, Technical Turbulence operates out of a garage workshop. We don’t need anything amazing to build a functional robot, just motivation and good engineering skills!
  • Tenacious Competitors: Even though we are a new team, we’ve wasted no time in the competition. In two seasons, we’ve competed in 15 official events, won multiple awards, and even attained the Winning Alliance at a tournament this and last year.
  • Spreading Knowledge: We don’t only compete in the graces of this competition,— we also love inspiring the younger generation as well. The team has presented at workshops like the 10th Annual FLYSET Workshop, STEM and Robotics Academy, and Texas instruments showing other kids our robot by spreading fundamental gracious professionalism of FIRST.
  • Staying Active Online: Technical Turbulence keeps an active YouTube channel, where we post match footage of our autonomous and connections with other teams. We can also be found online in the Unofficial FIRST Tech Challenge Discord server.
